SALLE SALée
Growing up in what some dub the fearless generation, Salle grasped early on the potential of submitting school assignments as videos, igniting her passion for filmmaking as young as seventh grade.
With a hands-on background in television production, Salle is today a trained and in-demand actress with notable roles in productions like Amazon’s 'Wheel of Time,' Mikkel Nørgaard's ‘Klovn,’, Stefan Pflug's 'Fixer,' and many others, amassing over a decade of experience in the professional film industry.
Just like her work in front of the camera, Salle lives within the narratives, and as a director her style of storytelling is characterized by a subtle sense of magical realism. Highly inspired by surrealism and today’s strange clash between fine arts and modern technology, she finds excitement in making the abstract concrete, as well as finding the bold yet balanced sweet spot between seriousness and playfulness within her films. She’s passionate about taboo subjects and known for her ‘anti plain Jane’ main characters who are always in it to win it (even when they don’t).
As a director her biggest force is her untamed and curious nature always looking to craft dynamic stories that touch the heart.
